The true story of a young, shy, pretty girl called Angela Duvall. Angela ,trying to protect her brother, takes the blame for a murder she didn't commit. She is sent to a women's penitentiary where she has to play with the rules of the prison in order to survive the abusive attacks of the rest of the caged women and the plans of the corrupted warden who wants her dead. The honest, handsome prison doctor beeing aware of her innocence tries to help her.
