NIGHT OF THE BLOODY APES (KORANG-1969)
This cheap Mexican horror film is a remake of Cardona's Doctor of Doom (1962), spiced with nudity, medical footage, women wrestling, and cheap gore shots. Female masked wrestler Lucy (who looks like the devil) beats the stuffing out of an opponent - a wrestling lady with a red costume like Catwoman. Lucy finally hurls her opponent from the squared circle and knocks her out cold. Although Lucy's cop boyfriend tries to convince her that it's all part of the show, Lucy can no longer handle the stress of wrestling. Meanwhile, a mad scientist (Dr. Krellman) attempts to cure his son's leukemia by doing the first 'ape-to-human' heart transplant. He decides to put a gorilla's heart into the lad and orders his flunky to "prepare the gorilla!". There is actual footage of a graphic open heart surgery inserted in the ape operation scenes. This of course causes the boy to turn into a big stinky man-ape. He becomes deformed and mutated, as he sprouts excessive facial hair and takes on the characteristics of the organ's donor, who immediately goes on a bloody rampage, tearing clothes off women and faces off men. Colonel Mostyn is the chief of a section of the British Security Services when they are embarrassed by the number of spies and defections. The Chief tells him to do something about it so he hires Boys Oaks as Agent L-The Liquidator, to assassinate people about to cause trouble. Although Boys likes the cars and the girls that his new position attracts he's not any good at it. TWO THOUSAND MANIACS (1964)
Six Yankee tourists are lured into the fictional small Southern town Pleasant Valley by the redneck citizens to be the guests of honor for the centennial celebration of the day Union troops destroyed the town. The tourists are separated and forced to participate in various sick games which lead to their gory deaths. The methods employed by the festive townspeople include:
- Dismembering a woman with an axe, and thereafter roasting her in a barbecue pit;
- Staging a "horse race" in which a man is ripped limb from limb;
- Rolling a man downhill in a barrel embedded with nails;
- Crushing a woman with a boulder held aloft in a contraption resembling a carnival-style dunk tank.
- After discovering the nefarious plans of the townspeople, the two remaining tourists manage to escape. They then return with a local sheriff, only to discover that the town has disappeared. Written and directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis. Starring Connie Mason, William Kerwin and Jeffrey Allen.

THE CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF (1961)
A young girl is raped by a horrifying beggar. After wondering around in the woods and living like an animal for some time a nobleman finds her and takes her to his house. The girl gives birth to a child and dies instantly. The child is adopted and raised by the family. Soon they find out that the young boy carries a horrible curse. Directed by Terence Fisher.
